In this tutorial, I will be showing you how to add this cool gradient effect to your text:

1. Start off with a new Photoshop document and fill the background layer white.

2. Using the Horizontal Type Tool, create whatever text you want and choose a nice combination of colours. For this tutorial I used blue and grey:

3. Now this is where you can copy exactly what I’ve done - right-click the text layer and go to blending options. Apply the following layer effects:

You should hopefully end up with something looking like this:
